Tightening Procedure
Before installation, ensure that a thin layer of engine oil is applied to the bolt threads and beneath the bolt heads. Follow the manufacturer’s specified torque tightening sequence (typically proceeding in a spiral pattern from the center outward), performing the following steps:
1. Stage 1 (M10): Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft)
2. Stage 1 (M12): Tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft)
3. Stage 2: Turn all bolts an additional 60° – 65°
4. Stage 3: Turn all bolts another 60° – 65°

M10 Bolts (8 total): 10 X 1.25 X 99 mm
M12 Bolts (2 total): 12×1.25 x 151 mm
