Torque Specifications (M10 Bolts)
Please follow a spiral tightening sequence, working outward from the center of the cylinder head:
Step 1: Pre-tighten to 30 Nm (22 ft-lbs)
Step 2: Angle tighten to 90°
Step 3: Angle tighten to 90°
Step 4: Angle tighten to 90°
Additional M8 Bolts
In addition, there are several smaller M8 peripheral bolts (typically located near the timing chain) used to secure the cylinder head. These bolts typically require tightening to a torque of 28 Nm (21 ft-lbs).
