For the Hyundai/Kia G4GC 2.0L engine, the cylinder head bolts (M10) need to be tightened in a precise three-step sequence: first tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft), then rotate 60°–65°, and finally rotate 60°–65° again. Always use brand new bolts, as they are torque yield (TTY) bolts and will be stretched during installation.
