The EA888 Gen 2 (2.0L TSI) intake camshaft features continuously variable valve timing (VVT) technology with a maximum advance angle of 60 degrees. It employs a hydraulic adjustment design to optimize mid-range torque output. Unlike the Gen 3 or Gen 5 engines, it typically does not feature Audi Valve Lift (AVS) on the intake side.
